With CCDT’s 1995 relocation to 509 Parliament Street in the heart of Cabbagetown, the company faced the challenge of maintaining its commitment to accessibility for children and youth in its new community. With assistance from local youth organizations, BOLD! identified children who showed passion for the art of dance, but who lacked the resources to explore their dreams. Since those beginnings, BOLD! students have participated and excelled at all levels including performing with the CCDT Company itself!

Nurturing friendships,
creativity, confidence &
self-discipline in our youth.

BOLD! develops not only skills in dance but life skills, confidence, self-discipline, and creativity. Our highest hope is that the BOLD! experience will contribute some small part to developing our community’s leaders and role models of tomorrow.
