Canadian Children's Dance Theatre

	The Canadian Children's Dance Theatre is a modern dance repertory company of 13 to 19-year old dancers based in Toronto, Canada. Founded in 1980 by Deborah Lundmark and Michael deConinck Smith to present gifted young artists in professional productions, the Company has staged more than one thousand performances from Barrie to Beijing. 	The School of CCDT was founded in 1983 to provide a creative home for young bodies, minds and spirits. The School offers evening and weekend classes in Music and Movement, Creative Dance, RAD Ballet, Limón Modern, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. 	*TILT sound+motion*, under the umbrella of the Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre, is a new dance company created out of a need to give emerging artists and untapped audiences a new perspective on modern dance.
	Teachers! Looking for a unique arts experience for your classes? Both the Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre and TILT sound+motion perform student matinees throughout Ontario just for you!
	509 Dance (the facility) is home to the Canadian Children's Dance Theatre, the School of Canadian Children's Dance Theatre, and hundreds of emerging and renowned dance artists including the Fujiwara Dance Inventions. A recently-renovated historic theatre in Toronto's Old Cabbagetown district, 509 Dance is available for rental.
	509 DANCE collective is an open, drop-in modern dance class for professional and pre-professional dancers. Classes are held Monday to Friday, 10:00am-11:30am.
