Madeleine Salhany is a Canadian dancer and choreographer currently performing with Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal under the artistic direction of Alexandra Damiani.
After graduating from the BFA program at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase in New York, she went on to work professionally in Germany for four years with Tanzcompagnie Gießen and Ballett Theater Trier. During this time, she deepened her artistic voice within the European contemporary dance scene and expanded her performance repertoire across a variety of international stages. Throughout her career, Madeleine has performed works by acclaimed choreographers including Ohad Naharin, Fernando Melo, Jo Strømgren, Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, Andonis Foniadakis, Mauro Astolfi, Georg Reischl, Sidra Bell, Ana Maria Lucaciu, Marne van Opstal, and Itzik Galili. Recently, she has been involved as a Rehearsal Director and Creative Collaborator with Canadian Choreographer Emma Portner, most notably assisting Portner with her new creation Megahertz at Bayerisches Staatsballett (2025).
In 2020, she began her choreographic career receiving the opportunity to share her work Envie, produced at Purchase College, at TDH Dance Festival in New York City. With Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, she created Second First Time (2024) and Bleached Eyes (2025) for the company’s annual BJMLab. She has also committed time to working with emerging dancers, creating several graduating senior solos for university dancers as well as having a deeply successful career in competition choreography.

Raoul Wilke, a multifaceted 2x Dora Award winning artist, is the co-founder of The Moon Runners dance crew and dance faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University. As a black emerging artist, he’s accolades extend within different communities, opening doors for new collaborations. He was a model for Seika Boye’s “This Living Dancer” in collaboration with the Art Gallery of Ontario and battled for Team Canada in China for an event called KOD. Over the summer of 2023 he got to produce his own production commissioned by dance immersion, which recently received 2 Dora’s, one being for best music composition and another for best production. He also received a Johanna under the mentorship of Natasha Powell.
As a leader of street dance community within Canada, he has mentored various companies and dance schools over the years, on the importance of the historical context, within these vernacular street forms and the value of themselves. He has learnt under the mentorship of Moncell Durden, Chester Whitmore, Travis Knight, Lisa Latouche, and many more inspiring artists, who define themselves as educators, as well have doctorates in this work. As a student of dance, he continues to live by the quote, “See the music, Hear the Dance” by Balanchine.
This year he can be seen, teaching both locally and internationally under the same people that had once mentored him. Bridging the generational gap and adding the nuance, that a youthful approach brings to deeply rooted work.

Elon Höglund is a Swedish multidisciplinary artist, internationally recognized as a dancer, choreographer, and music producer. A pioneer in blending street dance, contemporary movement, and theatrical expression, he began training in breaking and hip-hop at age seven, alongside martial arts such as kung fu, capoeira, and tae kwon do, which shaped his unique movement philosophy.
Since 2001, Höglund has choreographed and performed across theatre, dance, and contemporary circus. He was part of the original cast of Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles LOVE in Las Vegas, performing as a soloist and choreographing his own sections. He has a long-standing collaboration with Cirque Éloize, originating in iD and later serving as associate director and choreographer for iD Reloaded, and has worked with renowned choreographers including Dave St-Pierre, Daniel Ezralow, and Victor Quijada.
In 2012, he co-founded Tentacle Tribe Dance Company with Emmanuelle Lê Phan. The award-winning company tours internationally with productions like Nobody Likes a Pixielated Squid, Fractals of You, and Dirt, combining intricate choreography with philosophical and visually striking storytelling, often set to Höglund’s original music.

Dance artist/author Carol Anderson started her performing career in 1970 with pioneer Judy Jarvis’ first dance/theatre company. She was a founding member of Dancemakers, dancing, teaching, and choreographing from 1974-1988, and was AD from 1985-88. Since 1988 she has often worked with CCDT, and has choreographed ten pieces for the company. She has taught and choreographed in numerous professional, educational and community settings across Canada. A prolific dance writer, she has chronicled Canadian dance since the late 1980s, in biographies, collections, notes, articles and online resources. Professor Emerita of York U’s Department of Dance, Anderson continues to move, make, and write.

Colin Connor was the winner of both Sarasota Ballet’s International Choreography Competition and Charleston Ballet Theatre’s Fountainhead Choreography Competition.
